Kief refers to the resinous trichomes of cannabis that may accumulate in containers or be sifted from loose, dry cannabis flower with a mesh screen or sieve. Kief contains a much higher concentration of psychoactive cannabinoids, such as THC, than that of the cannabis flowers from which it is derived. Traditionally, kief has been pressed into cakes of hashish for convenience in storage, but can be vaporized or smoked in either form.
Sour Amnesia is a sativa dominant hybrid (85% sativa/15% indica) strain created as a cross of the insanely popular Sour Diesel X Amnesia strains. This bud took home the 2nd place prize for Best Sativa at the 2012 High Times’ Cannabis Cup and boasts a THC level that typically falls between 15-20% on average. Sour Amnesia has an aroma very much like its name suggests – sharp sour earth with a hint of citrusy diesel that’s released when it’s smoked. The taste is of earthy floral diesel with a sharply sour aftertaste that intensifies upon exhale. The Sour Amnesia high is said to be very serene in nature with just a touch of short-term memory loss. It starts with a soaring uplifting cerebral effect that leaves you completely blissful with a sense of utter calm. This is accompanied by a relaxing body effect that doesn’t limit your functionality, making it ideal for use during the day. Because of these powerful effects, Sour Amnesia is said to be perfect for treating chronic fatigue, mild to moderate cases of depression, ADD or ADHD, and chronic stress or anxiety. Sour Amnesia buds have large dense and tight spade-shaped lime green nugs with lots of colorful leaves, bright pink and purple undertones, and a frosty layer of crystal sandy white trichomes.
